This 1940 Ford Sedan is a head turning beautiful street rod and no expense was spared during the build. Starting with a rust free South Texas body the roof was chopped, the body trim shaved, the grill was partially molded into the fenders, the bumpers were removed, and every inch was smoothed over. The frame on this 1940 Ford Sedan matches the body color and was fully boxed and also features a Mustang II front suspension, Coil Over shocks, drop spindles, adjustable 4 link rear suspension, and rear panhard bar. This 1940 Ford Sedan is powered by a specially built 377 CI Chevrolet small block built by Bill Mitchell of World Products. The engine features a 6-71 BDS Supercharger, Demon Carbs, Aluminum heads, ARP studs, full rolling valvetrain, MSD ignition system, and was rated at 787 horsepower. This 1940 Ford Sedan has a built 400 Turbo automatic transmission with a reverse pattern shifter and a Gear Vendors overdrive unit that makes highway driving easy. This 1940 Ford Sedan rolls on Colorado Customs Billet Aluminum wheels that measure 17″ x 8″ in the front and 17″ x 11″ in the rear. The interior of this 1940 Ford Sedan also has been customized with front and rear bucket seats, Lokar polished shifter, VDO gauges, Colorado Custom steering wheel, polished steering column, power windows, power locks, neon lighting, and billet accent trim.
